About This Project

When John Carne approached Media Mechanics it was obvious that he didn’t want a typical website for his hair salon. His site had not been updated for a while and was serving as a virtual business card. There was no way for his fans and customers to interact with the salon or each other on the site.

They wanted to start a blog featuring everything from beauty tips, celebrity news, fashion advice, and local arts and culture events keeping the blog as the main content for visitors. The result is a site that features large bright and colourful imagery, a broad variety of content to keep readers coming back and allows them to easily share new posts on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter, readers can share content and leave comments directly on blog posts. The site definitely goes above and beyond just booking your next hair and beauty appointments.
